No soldering is required, but specific plastic sections of the G302 shell must be trimmed for clearance. This permanent modification cannot be reversed; the kit is not a drop-in installation.
G302 Pre-Builts use second-hand donor shells because the model has been discontinued in China for many years. Etsy options are Prebuilt: Good Cond. for relatively light cosmetic wear and Prebuilt: Fair Cond. for more visible cosmetic wear. Grading applies only to shell cosmetics, and exact wear varies.
Good Condition Pre-Builts are currently sold out and may require a long sourcing wait. Fair Condition shells have more visible wear. Confirm condition and timing before ordering if either matters to you.
